This is one of my favorite weddings to date! We started the day at the bride’s house in Tampa for the girls’ getting ready shots. Andie Sleeman did the make up. I worked with Andie on a 70′s inspired fashion shoot and I think she is amazing so I recommended her to Marcella. (I will be posting the results of that 70′s inspired shoot in the next few days so check back to see them) The next stop was Embassy Suites to get pictures of the guys. Then we drove to Lange Farm in Dade City. Lange Farm is a super cool location for a wedding. The ceremony was under a huge oak tree with spanish moss hanging off it like tinsel. Jack borrowed a classic 1920′s convertible from a family member so we definitely took advantage of that and took a lot of pictures with it. When we were done having a great time at Lange Farm we headed back to Tampa for the reception at Maggiano’s on Westshore. By the way, Maggiano’s has delicious food and I’m Italian so I’m really picky when it comes to Italian food. The reception was small and intimate and seemed to go by so quick. We did capture some great moments though before we headed out to wish Marcella and Jack a bubble farewell as they drove away in their classic convertible. We had too many pictures that we wanted to share with you all so we combined them into collages. We hope you enjoy looking through them as much as we enjoyed shooting them.

Being as busy as I’ve been is both good and bad. Good because business is booming and lots of work allows me to hone my photography skills. Bad because I tend to neglect keeping everybody updated on what projects I’m working on. Now that things have quieted down, at least for this week, I’m going to post every 2 or 3 days to showcase some of my favorite pictures from things I’ve been working on.

Up first is a recent engagement shoot we did with a great looking couple, Jena and Joe. Jena is a school teacher and Joe is a camera assistant for films and commercials. We shot at the florida botanical gardens, a place with so many beautiful backgrounds that it makes my job so easy.

We had our first bridal show booth this month. It was great meeting and talking with all of the possible future Christopher Visuals brides. Here are a few pictures of our booth.

Vanessa was tired of being my lighting guinea pig. She’s even cute when she isn’t smiling.

We photographed a great wedding this past weekend at the A La Carte Pavilion in Tampa. We had a super fun time with this beautiful couple and it was such a treat to be a part of their day. The A La Carte is a wonderful venue and they had it decorated perfectly. Here are a few teaser shots that I sent to the couple to hold them over. Please let me know what you think. Enjoy!

I had the pleasure of photographing Cassie and Mike’s wedding in Sarasota, Florida. Cassie and Mike are extremely photogenic. I think Mike has a kind of Jason Statham look going, minus the “I’m going to break your neck” expression. They were both really fun people and very easy to photograph. I want to give props to my assistant Patrick Dean for all of his help that day.

The wedding was at The Ascension Lutheran Church and the reception was at The Bird Key Yacht Club.

I’m going a little out of order with my blogs but I have a few weddings that I never did a blog for and I need to catch up.

This is Savannah and Johnathan. They were a wonderful couple and fun to work with. The wedding was at The Kapok Gardens in Clearwater, Florida. The scenery there is amazing with tons of cool background and places to shoot. I had the pleasure of working with Kathy DeMarco from Made For Each Other Weddings. She was a great help and the event was flawless thanks to her expertise.

Here’s is some of the day. Enjoy!

I was looking through the archives of weddings that I’ve photographed and came across this one I did with Reid Stains back in March and realized that I never posted a blog for this one. It’s amazing how much my photography has evolved in 9 short months. Kelly and Nash were a great couple and very photogenic. The location was the Plantation Golf Resort and Spa in Crystal River. This wedding came from a referral from a coworker of mine back when I used to work full time for a mindclay a local production company. Thankfully, God has provided and given me the opportunity to work for myself and build my own business. I still do some freelance for mindclay and I’m glad to be able to continue to work with them as they are great company to work for. Please check out their website.

Enough talk! Here’s the favorites from the day!

Thanks for viewing my blog. Be sure to see the next one!

Here is a wedding I photographed at Sunken Gardens in St. Petersburg. Sunken Gardens is a botanical paradise in the midst of a bustling city. As St. Petersburg’s oldest living museum, this 100 year old garden is home to some of the oldest tropical plants in the region. With it’s cascading waterfalls, beautiful demonstration gardens, and more than 50,000 tropical plants and flowers. Sunken Gardens is a beautiful place to have a wedding.

Angie and Scott were terrific people and they make the perfect couple. Their family and friends were super fun and made my job of capturing good photographs, a piece of cake.

Shout out to Reid at 12-1 Photography for referring me to Angie. Reid is a great guy and a good friend of mine. We do weddings together from time to time.

Here are a few favorites from their wedding.
