I was looking through the archives of weddings that I’ve photographed and came across this one I did with Reid Stains back in March and realized that I never posted a blog for this one. It’s amazing how much my photography has evolved in 9 short months. Kelly and Nash were a great couple and very photogenic. The location was the Plantation Golf Resort and Spa in Crystal River. This wedding came from a referral from a coworker of mine back when I used to work full time for a mindclay a local production company. Thankfully, God has provided and given me the opportunity to work for myself and build my own business. I still do some freelance for mindclay and I’m glad to be able to continue to work with them as they are great company to work for. Please check out their website.

Enough talk! Here’s the favorites from the day!

Here is a wedding I photographed at Sunken Gardens in St. Petersburg. Sunken Gardens is a botanical paradise in the midst of a bustling city. As St. Petersburg’s oldest living museum, this 100 year old garden is home to some of the oldest tropical plants in the region. With it’s cascading waterfalls, beautiful demonstration gardens, and more than 50,000 tropical plants and flowers. Sunken Gardens is a beautiful place to have a wedding.

Angie and Scott were terrific people and they make the perfect couple. Their family and friends were super fun and made my job of capturing good photographs, a piece of cake.

Shout out to Reid at 12-1 Photography for referring me to Angie. Reid is a great guy and a good friend of mine. We do weddings together from time to time.

Here are a few favorites from their wedding.

Abby and David

November 3, 2009

I had the pleasure of photographing Abby and David’s wedding. They were extremely nice and relaxed people. The wedding was a small gathering of their wonderful families at the Ritz Carlton of Sarasota. This place was amazing! The ceremony overlooked the water at sunset. As a wedding photographer, you couldn’t ask for a better location. Here is some of my favorites from their wedding day.

Recently I photographed William and Caryn’s wedding on the Yacht StarShip Dining Cruise in Channelside, Tampa. We got a little rain but it held out until just as the ceremony was ending on the top deck. This was my first wedding on a cruise ship. It was fun! Here are some of my favorites from their wedding day. Enjoy!
